Peer Groups

The K-State Community Food Systems Team is hosting two Peer Groups for shared learning and discussion across Kansas. Peer groups are gatherings of individuals in similar food system roles that provide the opportunity for discussing shared concerns, learning from each other, and building collective purpose over time. The peer groups are facilitated by K-State staff.

Farmers Market Management Peer Group

This group is specifically for managers, leadership, volunteers, or staff of farmers markets to create a space for shared learning and discussion. We ask that no more than two representatives of a market participate in the Peer Group at this time. Initially, the meetings will be held virtually. We hope to meet approximately monthly, starting in April or May 2026. In the future, we may explore regional or statewide meetups.
