Snapp, a longtime leader in innovation and philanthropy, will explore the rise of artificial intelligence and what it means for rural America and agriculture. Her remarks are expected to address the evolution of AI, the emergence of generative AI, and the importance of responsible AI.

She also plans to discuss how rural communities and agriculture can lead in this moment of technological change.

Tickets may be purchased online from the Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership program.

The Big Event will celebrate the graduation of KARL Class XVII and welcome Class XVIII into the program. The annual gathering brings together KARL associates, fellows, friends, family members, supporters and partners from across Kansas for an evening focused on leadership and the future of agriculture and rural communities.

Everyone is invited to attend.

“The Big Event is a special opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of Class XVII while welcoming Class XVIII as they begin their two-year KARL experience,” Zimmerman said. “Mary Snapp brings a timely perspective as agriculture and rural communities consider how emerging technologies will shape the future. We are excited to welcome her to Kansas and unite the KARL network for this meaningful evening.”

KARL -- an immersive two-year experience -- identifies, prepares and connects aspiring leaders to spark action that will positively impact Kansas agriculture and rural communities. Zimmerman said KARL equips participants with the perspective, knowledge and relationships to lead within the agriculture industry and across Kansas.
