March 31, 2026

Submitted by Lexie Hayes

The registration deadline is approaching for the Livestock County Fair Management Clinic, scheduled for April 13 and 16, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., via zoom. Participants need to register online by April 6 to receive the zoom link.

This is a biennial event hosted in even years for fair board members, livestock superintendents, extension agents, and others involved in managing the livestock aspect of Kansas county fairs to come together and discuss a variety of topics that impact this portion of the county fair.

Since 2008, this program has been offered through a discussion-based format for those involved to share how they approach a wide-range of situations to make the county fair a positive and successful experience for youth.

The clinic is targeted towards the involvement of fair board members and other livestock volunteers. Their engagement is vital to the quality of the program.

The event will be hosted via zoom across two evenings, with different topics covered each night. Please encourage your fair board members, livestock superintendents, and other livestock volunteers to attend.
