Submitted by Gregg Hadley

This week the Shout Out is from Carla Morrical, Post Rock District 4-H Program Coordinator; and is sent for Jamie Rathbun, Post Rock District Family and Community Wellness Agent.

Carla writes:

Jamie is a mainstay of the Post Rock District’s Family & Community Wellness efforts, and her impact reaches every corner of our fivecounty district. Her dedication shows up in the programs she leads, the people she supports, and the countless behindthescenes tasks she takes on to keep our communities evolving.

What makes Jamie exceptional:

  • Champion of community health: She actively promotes and assists with the Simply Produce program, helping ensure families have access to fresh, affordable produce.
  • Strengthening wellbeing: Through the Stay Strong program, she empowers residents to build healthier habits and maintain active lifestyles.
  • Trusted Medicare resource: Jamie provides invaluable guidance to Post Rock District residents navigating Medicare, offering clarity and support during an often overwhelming process.
  • Walk Kansas leader: Her involvement in Walk Kansas encourages community members to stay active, connected, and motivated.
  • County fair hero: Each year, she updates the Lincoln County Fair Book and ensures every detail is ready for a successful county fair in July—an enormous task that she handles with care and precision.

Jamie consistently goes above and beyond, not only fulfilling her role but elevating it. Her work strengthens families, supports healthier living, and brings people together across the district.  Her dedication makes a real difference—thank you, Jamie, for everything you do.
