Photography skills and fun techniques will be featured at this year’s 4-H Shutterbug Photography Event, scheduled April 11 in Manhattan.

This year’s event will take place at The Midwest Dream Car Museum, an exciting new venue where young photographers will learn how to take detailed car photos, compose photos, properly mount a photo, take black and white photographs, develop kaleidoscopes and more.

4-H members and families will need to register for this event in order to attend. The registration link is at https://cvent.me/027Zb9 and the cost for each 4-H member is $25. Youth members must be accompanied by an adult.

Youth are encouraged to bring their camera, smartphone and/or tablet to take photos, but 20 DSLR cameras will be available to check out for use that day. Youth members will need to bring their own SD card if they would like to take their photos home with them.

Door prizes and many more fun things are planned for this event. Get registered soon!
