Family Resource Management Training and Retreat

The Family Resource Management Program Focus Team will host an educational opportunity April 28-30 in Topeka, open to all extension agents.

A tentative agenda can be found in the FRM Channel of the K-State Extension
Resources Team.

Topics include:

  • Saving for children and teaching children about money.
  • Money Habitude updates.
  • Building wealth through saving and investing.
  • The estate recovery process and division of assets.
  • Long-term care.
  • A Powercat Financial update, and how agents can help prepare students for college and life after high school.
  • Credentials and educational opportunities.

Lunch will be provided on Wednesday and Thursday for registered participants. Please register at
