Kansas Master Farm Family Award Applications Due this Week

Extension agents and county/district extension boards: I offer this friendly reminder that Friday, May 8, is the deadline for applications for the 2027 class of Kansas Master Farm Families.
This is a standout recognition program for local farm and ranch families who have excelled in agriculture at the local, state, and even national levels. Families are also recognized for their commitment to community service and rural citizenship.
The applications of the nominees will be reviewed during the last three weeks of May, and the honorees will be identified in early June.
The nomination process and the online application can be found at https://kstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0NCWmt03ahoVI1g. The application, including photos, should be submitted entirely online.
This program is an excellent way to showcase extension locally and to show appreciation to farm families who have served as long-standing extension supporters at the local level, and perhaps beyond.
