Submitted by Gregg Hadley
This week, the Shout Out is sent from Brandie Disberger, associate professor in the Department of Agricultural Education and Communications, and is sent for Kyler Langvardt, Amber Sharp, Shannon Blocker and Erin Tynon.
Brandie writes:
“This shout out goes to Kyler Langvardt and the Geary County Extension office along with Amber Sharp, Shannon Blocker, Erin Tynon and the Pottawatomie County Extension office.
I teach the AGED 305 Early Field Experience course for undergraduates. In this course, students complete day-long observations of agriculture teachers and extension agents. During the 2025-26 school year, these offices and agents have done an outstanding job showcasing the career opportunities in extension to our students. Thank you!”
Kyler, Amber, Shannon, and Erin -- thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues, and K-State Extension.
If you know of a colleague or team of colleagues who deserve recognition for a job well done, why not nominate them for a Shout Out. Simply send their name(s) and the reason for the Shout Out to ksreshoutout@ksu.edu.
Shout Out submissions are published in the order they are received.
