Our Community Vitality team offers grant writing classes, specific grant searches, access to professional grant writing tools and personal coaching for people who write grants for Kansas communities.
Participants in grant writing classes wrote $107 million of successful grants within the first year of the class. With the support of our professionals, communities enrolled in the Kansas Community Empowerment (KCE) program have increased the number of private and public funds raised by 190% during 2020-2022.

Join our grant writing experts for an introductory online training. The workshop includes budget training, participant discussions, files of data sources and grant sources.
Microcredential: Students who complete a logic model, grant budget and budget narrative will receive a microcredential.

This online course introduces the grant development process and provides an overview of what happens after a grant is awarded. At the end of the course, students will have completed a fundable proposal.
Participants can take this eight-week intensive for credit or non-credit. Students who create a fundable proposal by the end of the course will earn a micro-credential.
