Our Local Food Systems team works with Kansas communities to support local food production. Functioning food systems help communities with options for fresh food production, processing, distribution, consumption, and waste management. We can build partnerships to help communities with food-related issues. These partnerships can enhance environmental, economic, social and nutritional health across Kansas.

Our town hall discussions about local food projects and organizations are held virtually on Zoom every quarter and are open to anyone in Kansas.
A Kansas community organization or business that is involved in local food systems can apply to host a Fellow on a local food systems project.
